Many people like to browser taskbar previews. But, I have heard of some people who don't like it very much and just find it annoying. This tutorial will tell you how to turn off browser taskbar previews with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
For Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer and go to the Tools menu. Then select Internet Options. Under the General tab, click on the Settings under the Tabs section.
2. A new window will appear and you will see a list of options. Un-check the option "Show previews for individual tabs in the taskbar"
3. Click the OK button and you're all done!
For Firefox, follow these steps:
1. Open Firefox and this in the address bar at the top of Firefox ABOUT:CONFIG and then press ENTER.
2. The Filter bar will appear, type in BROWSER.TASKBAR.PREVIEWS.ENABLE
3. Now double click the words that say BROWSER.TASKBAR.PREVIEWS.ENABLE and you should see it change from True to False in the Value field
